About Sysgraft

Built for the businesses that keep the UK running

UK manufacturers and distributors deserve software that works as hard as they do. Most are stuck between a dated ERP interface and a £300,000 replacement project that will probably fail. Sysgraft is the third option.

Currently active

UK Manufacturing & Distribution

Discovery sprints completed with UK manufacturers and wholesale distributors — including an OrderWise distributor and a Dynamics 365 Business Central manufacturer (case studies below). Sysgraft works with a maximum of four clients at a time for active project delivery, with capacity for additional discovery sprints in parallel.

The person behind the work

Euan Pallister

My career has never followed a straight line. I have worked in operations, manufacturing, account management, and physical product development — and I have run my own business. What connects all of it is an instinct for finding what is actually broken and building something that fixes it, usually within constraints that seemed impossible at the outset.

Sysgraft exists because I kept seeing the same problem: businesses with good data and sound processes, hamstrung by an interface that made every day harder than it should be. The ERP replacement pitch never made sense to me. The third option — a modern interface layer that leaves the ERP intact — did. So I built the practice around it.

When you work with Sysgraft, you work directly with the team that builds it, led personally by me throughout. Not an account manager. Not a junior handed the brief on day three. I'm on your floor, understanding your operation, and accountable for what gets built.

The story

Why Sysgraft exists

Sysgraft was built around a straightforward observation: UK manufacturing and distribution SMEs are locked into ERP systems that work well on the inside and badly on the outside. The data is good. The logic is sound. But the interface makes everything harder than it should be — for staff and for customers.

A full ERP replacement costs £300,000–400,000, takes 9–18 months, and according to Gartner and Panorama Consulting, most fail to meet their objectives. So most businesses struggle on, watching their people build spreadsheet workarounds and their customers reach for the phone.

There is a better option. Connect a modern, purpose-built interface to the ERP via its REST API. No migration. No disruption. No risk. Staff get the experience they deserve. Customers get self-service. Management gets live visibility. And the ERP — which you have spent years configuring — stays exactly where it is.

The model

How the business works

Sysgraft is a small, highly focused, AI-assisted development practice led personally by Euan Pallister. Nothing is outsourced or subcontracted. That focus is a structural competitive advantage, not a limitation. A traditional agency charges £400–700 per day per developer and takes 3+ months per project. Sysgraft delivers a comparable build in 4–12 weeks, depending on scope, using AI-assisted development and a reusable application scaffold.

Delivery cost is kept low by design. That cost saving is passed to clients through accessible pricing — not captured as margin. The result is a fixed-price build at a fraction of what an agency would charge, backed by a subscription model that keeps us invested in your outcome long after go-live.

AI compresses the time it takes to build. Every design decision, every line of code, and every architectural choice is made and reviewed under Euan’s direct, personal oversight — not generated and shipped. The result is production-grade software delivered faster than a traditional agency build, with full human accountability for what it does and how it is built.

"You deal directly with the team that builds it, led personally by me from the first day on your floor to the last line of code. No account manager. No handoffs. No junior learning on your project."

Respect the ERP

Your ERP runs your business. We build around it — not over it. The investment you have made in configuration and data integrity is preserved.

Outcomes over features

Every module is scoped around a specific operational outcome — not a list of features. If it does not improve how your business runs, it does not go in.

Transparency

Fixed prices. Clear SOW. You own the code. IP transfers on go-live. No surprise invoices. No scope drift. No reason to be vague.

Speed as respect

Your business cannot wait 18 months. A 4–12 week build means you see return on investment well within the year.

How we discover

Built from your floor, not a template

Every software agency claims they understand your business. Nobody believes it — because the standard approach is a two-hour Teams call with a slide deck and a list of requirements to tick off.

Sysgraft works differently. Before a single requirement is written, before any spec is drafted, we come to your site. We spend 2–3 days physically embedded in your operation — sat with the despatch team at 7am, watching how orders get processed, seeing where people reach for a spreadsheet because the ERP is too slow, noticing the workarounds nobody mentioned in the kickoff call.

We map what really happens — not what the process document says happens. Features that nobody would have thought to request in a meeting get discovered on the floor. That is what your solution gets built from. You do not need to prepare anything. Just give us access and context. We do the hard work of understanding.

On-site observation, not remote assumption

We come to your warehouse, office, or production floor. The insight that shapes your build comes from watching real work, not from what people remember to mention on a call.

Low overhead on your side

You do not need to prepare documentation, run workshops, or brief anyone. Give us access and let your team work normally. We observe and ask questions as things happen.

The spec reflects reality

Most project failures trace back to a gap between what was specified and what the business actually does. On-site observation closes that gap before a single line of code is written.
